HTC flyer initially runs on Android gingerbread 2.3.4 . Slightly after Ice Cream Sandwich is released, HTC were working for updates on honeycomb for flyer. It was a quite long waited updates. However HTC keeps his promise and the update was a success.
Unlike the 7 inch tablet from Samsung, the first generation of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 is still running on 2.3.4 and updates for honeycomb is impossible.
However HTC flyer will not be upgraded to ice cream sandwich as HTC announced.
